Vít Šimral

Vít Šimral (born 9 July 1986) is a Czech politician, sociologist and economist. He was a member of Prague City Council from 2018 to 2022, representing the Czech Pirate Party.
Early life
Šimral was born on 9 July 1986 in Roudnice nad Labem. He studied political science and history at Masaryk University, historical sociology at Charles University, law at the University of Leicester, and political economy at IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca. Šimral is the managing director and partner of the company InvEast, a management consultancy operating in Central Europe.
Political career
Šimral was elected as a representative of Prague in the 2018 Czech municipal elections. He was elected at the founding meeting of the Prague council on 15 November 2018 as a member of the City Council. He was responsible for education, sports, and business support.
In the 2022 municipal elections, Šimral did not run for the Prague City Council, but instead ran unsuccessfully for the council of Prague 10.
