Utopod

Utopod is a French-speaking independent podcast which presents short stories, mainly in the science fiction and fantasy genres.
The podcast collaborates with other science fiction and fantasy magazines such as Solaris and Bifrost, as well as with the Maison d'Ailleurs. It has been covered by the media multiple times, both in traditional and electronic media.
Utopod was the first and, as of this date (September 2008), the only podcast publishing French short stories from professional authors on a regular basis. Both previously published and exclusive stories are published, from acclaimed authors such as Catherine Dufour, Jean-Pierre Andrevon or Joël Champetier.

History
Utopod was born in May 2007 from the initiative of Marc Tiefenauer and Lucas Moreno, two long-time Swiss French friends who shared a passion for the science fiction and fantasy literary genres.
In April 2008 (), it was announced that Marc Tiefenauer decided to put an end to his participation to pursue other personal projects. Since then, Lucas Moreno has been editing the podcast alone.
Lucas Moreno was a guest of the 2008 edition of the Utopiales, the annual international science fiction festival held in Nantes, France.
