United Cancer Foundation (UCF) is a Boca Raton, Florida-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The United Cancer Foundation, was founded by a recent cancer survivor, and is making strides to help those afflicted with Prostate and Breast Cancer. The United Cancer Foundation is a Community Based Organization, operating on a national level, and is dedicated to achieving prevention through education and providing critical funding for free Prostate Cancer and Breast Cancer screenings. UCF also funds the Remote Area Medical events for the people of Florida, which provides free Medical, Dental, and Vision care to those in need. The United Cancer Foundation was founded in 2007, by recent cancer survivor Steven Kaplan, his wife Doreen, and his two sons Scott David Kaplan and Michael Kaplan. Working with Remote Area Medical and 25 additional community-based and nationwide organizations, UCF is bringing the largest free health care event to the state of Florida November 21-22nd 2009.
