The UK Amateur and Semi Pro MMA Competition 2010 was a mixed martial arts competition held in Manchester, England in May 2010. Open to several teams who qualified, it featured fighters from some of the best amateur and semi-pro MMA Gyms in the UK. There were teams from Manchester, London, Liverpool, Glasgow, Birmingham and Nottingham. It was a knockout competition which saw fighters compete in three weight classes: Lightweight, Welterweight and Heavyweight. The winners of each weight class shared the overall prize money, said to be about £2000 each. There were some shocks in the competition, with relatively unknown fighters from Liverpool and London winning the Welterweight and Heavyweight Divisions.
