Typical Friday Night (TFN) is a two member North American Pop/Hip hip boy and girl group formed in 2010. The band consists of two members: Jet Phynx (pronounced Jet- fee nix ) rapper/songwriter and Brawdway, a singer/songwriter. They first appeared at Atlanta’s prestigious in 2012 as the opening act for Kansas. TFN has performed across the United States and Canada at Fashion Art Toronto (FAT) and have been featured in several street style publications including Elle Canada and Boxden labeled Typical Friday Night as 'the next Black Eyed Peas'. TFN first single "Jiggle it" was released on May 25, 2012. The song was created to promote their first mixtape "The Party Pac" The music video was released on June 11, 2012. On June 23, Jet Phynx revealed that TFN's debut song would be a hip-hop and electric dance song, and that it would be digitally released on Aug 27th 2012. Titled "Tonights the Night", the song was written and produced by TFN, Pat Kelly and Doc McKinney. A 30-second teaser of the song was released on their official website on July 10. Image TFN integrates American pop music with gip-hop beats and dance pulses reminiscent of the 80s video game culture. TFN is known for directing and editing their own music videos along with designing and creating their stage wear and sets. TFN crowned their style Popanese: American Pop Music infused with Korean and Japanese Street Style.
