Two Words (film)

Two Words is a 2018 British drama film written by David Blacker and directed by Jesper Emborg and stars Sophia Myles and Henry Goodman. The film was released on 22 July 2018 at Cinefest, Los Angeles.
Synopsis
A middle-aged father tells his grown up daughter that he's been living a lie during his 35-year marriage and intends to be his true self.

Production
It was officially announced in April 2018 that Sophia Myles and Henry Goodman would star in the film. Filming took place in London and the surrounding area in late 2017 and early 2018. The film was released on 22 July 2018 at the Los Angeles Cinefest in Los Angeles, US and also eventually to many film festivals across the world where it won several high-profile awards.
Reception
The film was highly praised by critics and both Myles and Goodman's performances were described as "masterful". Two Words also won Best Film at the International Online Web Fest in 2019 and Goodman and Myles won Best Actor and Actress respectively. At the same event, the film was awarded Best Film, director Jesper Emborg won Best Director and writer David Blacker won the Pablo Cedrón Award for Best Screenplay.
At the Scene Festival USA in January 2020, Two Words won Best Scene, Best Cinematography, Best Editing and Best Actor and Best Actress for Henry Goodman and Sophia Myles respectively once again. The film was also awarded Best Director for Jesper Emborg and also the Special Mention Award at the same festival.
In 2018, Henry Goodman won Best Actor at the UK Offline Web Fest and at the same festival, director Jesper Emborg was also nominated for Best Director.
