Twin City Arts Festival

A high profile arts festival in North Carolina held in the city of Winston-Salem.
This festival is an all media event that hosts everything from live
bands to fashion and from dance to film. The festival is unusual in the fact that it organizers focus
on getting talent scouts from various well known companies (such as Universal, and Christie’s) to aid
up and coming artists in getting discovered.

This festival usually takes place in November or December of each year and is a venue for
aspiring artists to come face to face with professionals that currently work in the field they
aspire to. This is a fest design with the intent to give artist the chance to "get discovered"
or "break out".

Attendance at the 2007 TCAF festival was said to be around 12,000; that's not including
the 300, or so, artists that participated. This is the only festival that encourages artists
to sell their work at the festival while it is on display.
