Coimbatore-Salem MEMU

The Coimbatore-Salem MEMU is a train which from Coimbatore to Salem in Tamil Nadu state in India. This train is operated by Southern Railway in India and the rakes are owned by Central Railway. It is the main MEMU in Salem Railway Division that connects four cities as Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode and Salem. The line originally ran between Coimbatore Main Junction (CBE) and Erode Junction (ED) and was later extended to reach Salem Junction (SA). The train is assigned 66602 number in the Coimbatore - Salem direction and 66603 number in the Salem - Coimbatore direction.
