Twilight: The Musical

Twilight: the Musical is a parody of the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer, produced by Gliff Productions. It features original songs and score. The first episode premiered on YouTube on 13 March 2009.
Plot
In Phoenix, Arizona, Isabella Swan says goodbye to her mother, Renee Swan and her mother's fiance, Phil Dwyer. Bella then flies to Forks, Washington, to live with her biological father Charlie Swan, the Forks police chief. On the way home, Charlie pulls over a child molester, Lonnie, but later lets him go. ("Forks, Washington")
The next day is Bella's first day at Forks High School ("I'm New Here") and all of her classmates are eager to meet her. She becomes friends with Jessica Stanley and Angela Weber, and also meets Mike Newton, Eric Yorkie, and Tyler Crowley, who all share romantic interests in her.
Meanwhile Edward Cullen, a vampire, struggles to resist his urge to kill Bella. Unfortunately, Bella and Edward share Biology class, and their teacher Mr. Banner seats them next to each other. Before Edward has a chance to kill her, Mr. Banner reminds the class that murdering students is against district policy. Bella develops a crush on Edward, but is led to believe by Jessica that he hates her, and she runs home crying.
The next day, Jessica explains the Cullen family to Bella in the cafeteria. ("The Cullens") Edward attempts to become acquainted with Bella in Biology, and begins to fall in love with her. When Bella walks to school the next morning, she is nearly run over by Tyler's van in the school parking lot. Seemingly defying the laws of physics, Edward saves her life when he instantaneously appears next to her and stops the van with a stop sign. Their love for each other strengthens, but Edward is still reluctant to enter into a relationship with Bella, as he fears that he might hurt her.

Production
The musical was made by high school seniors, apparently for their own entertainment, and later released on the group's YouTube channel. The first episodes were released on a relatively consistent schedule, with a sudden drop-off in activity following the release of episode 4a.
A video released on 19 January 2010 officially confirmed the musical's hiatus, citing the reason that the core members of the production group had begun college, and could no longer meet to work on the project.
