TweetBot is a client for Twitter a social media website. It mainly runs on iPhone and iPad. The app makes the user of it to view their tweets and publish new ones. History TweetBot was initially released on the 14th of April, 2011 by Tapbots LLC on the App Store. It was only available for the iPhone at that time. TweetBot has been updated several times, adding up many new things each time. Today, Tweetbot was able to be successful in being the best twitter client on the App Store, #1 Twitter client. Added Value TapBots LLC, the company that owns Tweebot were influenced in all their apps by cartoonish-looking robots, such as Disney Pixar's Wall-E. This influence that is through all their apps made a perfect appearance and functionality to the app, hence it being called a Twitter client with Personality. The sounds that are made when scrolling, when moving from tab to tab, etc. make Tweetbot very unique. Tweetbot also has two tabs at the end which are customizable, to comfort the user when needing to change function (such as searching, or looking a favorites, etc.). Tweetbot can hold more than one twitter account. It also has this other unique function which is swiping a tweet to the right which will bring up the whole conversation, and swiping the tweet to the left to see the details of the tweet itself. Tweetbot is the first twitter client that can sync with iCloud, and makes a good-looking form for an iOS 5 app. Criticisms TweetBot didn't receive a lot of criticisms since making, but, it has received some complains that mainly go to the price, which is $2.99 (American dollar). The other criticisms were mainly from other twitter-client fans, stating things like nothing new or unique in the app.
