Tubby Engine The Tubby Engine is an accidental occurance, in a Nintendo Gameboy game, of Pokémon. This accident occurs in Emerald, Red, and etc. Having the appearence of a Pikachu with a mysterious Hitler mustache. The Tubby Engine first appeared when you engage into battle, in a field. Oddly enough, the Gameboy does not allow you to use more than 9 letter spaces. So, obviously, there was no space in between "Tubby" and "Engine," as well as a missing letter "e", leaving the twice mistake, "TubbyEngin." Pikachu being one of the more well-known and popular of th creatures. The wild "TubbyEngin" (Tubby Engine) was first found in a field, assuming that is where it was born. Your character forcably engages in a battle with the mighty Tubby Engine. You may not continue the game without catching the Tubby Engine in a Pokéball-- a red and white ball that your character throws at various Pokemon in order to shrink them and capture them into the ball-- unfortuneately, if you do not succeed in 'capturing' the Tubby Engine, you may not continue the game. You may be familiar with the "Game Over" screen, at this point. Later On Life Even after realizing this obnoxious typo (that also speeds up the gaming experience by 10x, as another glitch) the game creators refuse to fix it, as it seems to fit in with the rest of the gameplay. Eastereggs (special inconspicuous occurances) of this character was also places into various other Nintendo games, such as the Legend Of Zelda, Mariocart, and others for the systems Nintendo 64 and Gameboy Advance. Humorously enough, it also became a fad on the social network Myspace containing several quotes. "All Hail Tubby Engine" "Tubby Engine Is The Father" Says various anonymous Myspace users. ---- The Official Pokemon Website
