Trustive is a Wi-Fi internet access provider and hotspot aggregator, with a network of WiFi hotspots in over 130 countries. Trustive's coverage incorporates the Wi-Fi hotspots from over 80 international Wi-Fi hotspot operators such as Telefonica, Swisscom Mobile, KPN Hotspots and China Mobile. Trustive's hotspots are deployed at locations such as airports, hotels, bars and restaurants. The company also offers WISPr-compliant Wi-Fi client software (connection management tools) for the iPhone, iPod Touch, Windows XP, Windows Vista, MacBooks and the ASUS EeePC. There are no download quotas associated with the service. The service includes a Cisco Systems based "Enhanced Wi-Fi Security" feature, a Virtual Private Network shield designed to protect web session information. Service is offered in partnership with other service providers such as airlines, international SIM card providers, VoIP providers and travel loyalty programs. Trustive was created in 2003 and is owned by private investors. Its headquarters is located in London, United Kingdom, and it has an operations centre at Sophia Antipolis, France.
