TruceWorks

TruceWorks is a social networking platform that is designed to help conflict resolution. It is a free service that was established in 2010.
Truceworks.com is used for resolving conflicts and deepening connection in all types of relationships. The web site includes a resource library that provides information on relationships, conflict resolution, psychological growth, and self awareness.
Method
TruceWorks allows people to register their e-mail addresses and contact other people for the purpose of conflict resolution. This is accomplished through the use of a five step inquiry and response that is based on the CLEAR relational process, which was developed by the site's founders.
CLEAR
The CLEAR (an acronym) process is a web-based, programmed exchange, serving as a mediating element in conflict resolution. The process was developed through collaboration between Julie Roberts, Catherine Pearson and Arlene Eisen.
The process is achieved through five steps. Each participant must CLARIFY the cause of the conflict; LOCATE the internal feelings that the conflict has activated; EXPRESS the needs that underlie these feelings; this expression allows for each participant to give ATTUNED RESPONSES; finally, reflection and negotiation encourage RECIPROCATION which fulfills the relational needs that the conflict has activated.
The CLEAR process is based on a relational model that mimics the pre-verbal communication patterns that promote psychological development. Emphasizing the significance of the need for relationship in emotional life, conflict is viewed as a disruption in relational connection. The CLEAR relational process is structured to support interpersonal dynamics that create emotional re-connection / connection. The ideas of Marshall Rosenberg and his Nonviolent Communication theory helped to inform the development of the CLEAR Relational Process.
