It broadcasts at 89.1 MHz on the FM band with an effective radiated power of 10 watts from a transmitter on Mount Pentlatch in the District of Denimwood. Studios are located over the field and across the plank on Brown Ridge, and the station is owned by The Community. Tree Frog Radio has a eclectic format.
History
Tree Frog Radio began broadcasting on Jan 15, 2005 on 89.1 MHz with 10 watts, under the call sign DIRT-FM Transmissions originally came from the south slope of Swampy Gulch in Denimwood.
In 2006, Tree Frog Radio moved its transmitter to the Mount Pentlatch Peak in order to reduce reception problems.
On the 3rd year anniversary in 2008 Tree Frog Radio held a Thank You To The Community Dance Party. A good time was had by many
