TransGoldfields

TransGoldfields (previously Goldenlines Bus Service) is a public bus service in the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, owned and maintained by Eastern Goldfields Transport Board. In 2005, the company was upgraded thanks to funding from the state government. The funding boost saw three metropolitan buses added to their fleet, as well as a new name (similar to the state government's metro and state transport services, Transperth and Transwa) and an overhaul of the existing fleet livery, however most older street buses still sport the original red and yellow Goldenlines stripes on the sides and front. As of January 2009 The Public Transport Authority has taken over the running and operations of TransGoldfields. Four more Metropolitan buses have been added with two wearing red stripes and the other two wearing the existing green stripe.
