Toxic Skies is a 2008 Canadian independent feature film directed by Andrew C. Erin and starring Anne Heche and James Tupper. The film aired March 3, 2009 on Australian TV. Synopsis Dr. Tess Martin (Anne Heche), a specialist from the Global Health Organization, is called in to investigate a mysterious illness that is filling up Spokane's hospitals. She is contacted by Jack (James Tupper), who inform her that the disease is caused by a deadly substance called "E901" being added to jet fuel to "weed out the old and the sick". As the situation escalates, 70% of the population is infected, and Spokane is placed under quarantine, trapping Martin inside. Together they battle operatives of the Keller corporation as they attempt to escape the city to find a cure.
