Touchstone Technologies

Touchstone Technolgies (Hatboro, Pennsylvania) formerly Delta Proctocol Test Solutions was one of IP communications and videoconferencing's earliest pioneers in the test and measurement space.

Founded in early 1989, the group's principals were an active force in the ITU-T and helped the define and develop the standards for the H.261 video codec; thus paving the way for standards-based video conferencing systems. During this time, Touchstone also developed the industry's first "bridged" test solution for H.320 ISDN-based video conferencing emulation and analysis. Touchstone's original principals also served as the ITU-T's H.323 protocol standards committee editor and as the Rapateur for the ITU-T's H.324 protocol.
