Total Fight Night was the first mixed martial arts event held Universal Total-Fight Forum (UTF). It took place on October 5, 1997. It was the first professional mixed martial arts event promoted in the UK. The event also featured Kickboxing bouts. Mixed martal arts results Chris Watts vs. Lee Threfall Watts won by Submission (Armbar) in Round 1. Won vacant UTF RINGS British title. Lee Hasdell vs. Peter Dijkman Hasdell won by Submission (Rear Naked Choke) at 4:46 of Round 1. Won vacant UTF RINGS Superfight title. Matt Miller vs. Gerard Coville Miller won by Decision. Fought under RINGS rules (2x5). Glen Brown vs. Dave Van Der Veen Van Der Veen won by TKO (Retirement) in Round 2. Fought under RINGS rules (2x5). Dexter Casey vs. Bobby Razak Razak won by Decision.
