Too Sweet

The Too Sweet (gesture) is a bonding gesture, usually celebratory in nature, in which a group of two or more persons raise their hands high in the air until all members of said group join in (typically in a circular fashion). Continuing to say “Tooooooooooo” until all members join in, the people in the group place their middle and ring fingers down to their thumb so the tips meet (the index and pinky stay extended upward) and with arms raised high, touch the hand signs to one another. Once the final member of the group eagerly runs over and throws his hand sign into the mix, all hands explode, arms falling back as if the resulting disconnect was nuclear in nature, and in unison the group yells out the second part of the ridiculously awesome catch phrase, “Sweeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!”.
History
Early Development
The Too Sweet originated from professional wrestling, particularly a group of WWE wrestlers known as The Klique. Originally, the Too Sweet was just the hand gesture without the accompanying catch phrase used by HBK (aka The Heartbreak Kid), Triple H, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Sean Waltman (aka X- Pac) signifying that they were in The Klique. Unifying through this gesture, they ran the WWE from behind the scenes: keeping other wrestlers from advancing, only jobbing to one another, and picking up beautiful women in every town they went to.
Taking it to the Next Level

Eventually, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash left for rival organization WCW and formed a new faction in pro wrestling: The nWo or . As this new group gained popularity and became more visible to the populace, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, now known as , added the Too Sweet catch phrase to give their hand gesture the much needed ‘pop’. Too Sweet became so much fun to do, that the WCW roster started jumping ship and joining the nWo, for this reason and this reason alone. Too Sweet changed the face of wrestling forever.
Becoming a Cultural Phenomenon
Not only did this catch on in the Wrestling World, but it started sweeping across the nation. The most noted organization to use this said term was a group at Michigan State University (1997-2002) called the new Wonders order (nWo). You would always know that this group had accomplished, achieved, or plain just zinged someone with the loud bellowing echoes of "TOOOOOOO... SWEEEEET!!!"... Occasionally followed by a single person "WOOOOOOOOO!"
