Tony Cargill (born 7 March 1983 in Dundee) is a former multiple time World Champion in Highland Dancing. He was also a Scottish professional football player. He grew up in Arbroath, Scotland. He currently lives in Windsor Junction, Nova Scotia, Canada where he is now the Director of Coach and Player Development for Scotia Soccer Club while playing and coaching for Suburban F.C. in the Nova Scotia Soccer League. Highland Dancing Cargill began dancing at the age of 5. He lists the Sword Dance as his favorite to perform, due the challenge of avoiding the blades of the sword while dancing. He had the chance to dance in front of 60,000 people at the Amsterdam Arena. He has also performed in Beijing, China.<ref name=TAH /> In July 2009, Cargill performed at an all-male Highland Dance show in Australia called "Down Under the Kilt: Reel Men Do Dance".
