Personal life
Her mother is Filipino, and her father is Japanese. "Sumi" is her surname, while both "Tomomi" and "Jiena" are her first names.
The reason why she decided to become a voice actress is when she was in elementary school, she discovered that there's differences between Disney Channel program's in English and Japanese version, and that Shinji Ishide dubbed Jackie Chan's voice in his movies when it gets released in Japan.
She dreamed to become a dubber for a heroine of Disney Channel's program and Jackie Chan's works. She holds an elementary school English teacher qualification as well Grade 2 of STEP Eiken certification.
