Tomahawk Blues Band

Tomahawk Blues Band was an experimental blues and hard-rock band formed in Brussels in 1967. They were active until 1969.
The band
The original group had eight members:
*Luc Hensill (vocals, guitar and bass guitar) from The Klan & The Third Eye
*Michel Clement (vocals, guitar)
*Bob Valtin (bass guitar, piano, organ and vocals) from The Klan & The Third Eye
*Robert Chabre dit l'Eclair (drums) from The Third Eye
*Guy Murphy (vocals, guitar) from The Shakes
*Michel Mertens (guitar)
*Philippe D'Outreligne (drums)
*David Dandoy (guitar) from The Klan & The Third Eye
Filmography
As an experimental band, they became involved in experimental cinema.
A Trip with Tomahawk Blues Band by Belgian director Marc Lobet was a 55 minute experimental film shot on 35 mm colour film. The film featured Hensill, Clement and Chabre dit l'Eclair(actors & Film Score).
* In 1968, Tomahawk also created the Music of "L'Aurore Rouge Et Noire" written by the Spanish French filmmaker Fernando Arrabal for the Producer: the "Théâtre de Poche". "L'Aurore Rouge Et Noire" was created in Brussels-Capital by the French director Pierre-Alain Jolivet with the actors : Eve Bonfanti, Hélène Desmedt, Jacques Dorval, Josépha Eemes, Jean-Claude Frison, Anne Hauben, Quentin Milo, Jacques Monseu, Daniel Vigo, Josépha Waem and the members of the Tomahawk.
