Tom Murdoch

Thomas A. Murdoch is a teacher, currently employed in the Mahomet-Seymour Junior high. His significant lines include "All right guys" and "That's the translator."
He was one of the few who survived the Cold War, and started teaching World History for eighth graders.
Life
Tom Murdoch was born into a small town in Ohio. Raised as a farm-boy, he was well known for being able to hold roosters and other farm animals.
After High school, he was recruited into the cold war, which he served as a Security Police Operations officer at the Air Force Flight Test Center. In 1998, Tom Murdoch was employed into the Mahomet-Seymour Junior High as a History teacher. Later, he started working as part of the Enrichment program where he is still teaching Photoshop, Storytelling, Nano Tech, and The World Since 1914 History Classes. He is one of the few Illinois History teachers, who has had experience with the Cold War. He was known to visit Russia on multiple occasions.
In the summer of 2004, Tom Murdoch participated in a Fulbright exchange to Russia, staying with Russian families, and visiting schools, farms, and
factories across Vladimir Oblast. During the school year of 2011-2012, Russian exchange students stayed at the Junior High to teach the students about Russian culture. One student has been quoted saying, "His class is fun."
Significant lines
"All right guys" said when talking about a new subject.
"That's the translator" said when guiding students across educational videos.
"Turn off your monitors" said when finding students who are not participating in class but instead, playing on their computers.
