Tim Knox (born September 12, 1960) is an American entrepreneur, author, public speaker and talk radio host.
As a serial entrepreneur, Tim is the founder and president of four technology companies and serves as an investor, mentor and advisor to many companies in his home town of Huntsville, Alabama. Tim has been interviewed by Fox News, NY Post, ABC News, and many other media outlets on the topics of entrepreneurship, small business, and e-business.
Prior to becoming a full-time entrepreneur, Tim spent more than 20 years as a technology executive for Boeing Aerospace and Teledyne Technologies.
As a private business consultant, he led the e-business initiatives for companies like Advance Internet, Mercedes-Benz, Time Warner and others.
In the past Tim worked as a standup comedian, a radio morning show host, an underground newspaper editor, an award-winning humor columnist, and almost-syndicated cartoonist.
Today, Tim owns several local businesses, and can often be heard on local radio and TV stations giving advice to people looking to start their own businesses.
Tim currently lives with his wife and children in Huntsville, Alabama where he grew up.
