Thumb Radio

The Thumb Radio Region consists of AM and FM radio stations in the Thumb area of Michigan. The Thumb Area Radio Region is not a designated radio market, thus it is a combination of radio stations in the Tri-Cities, Flint, Metro Detroit, and even Southwestern Ontario. Principle radio stations in the Thumb Area Radio Region include: WMIC 660 AM, WPHM 1380 AM, WKYO 1360 AM, WLEW 1340 AM, and WLCO 1530 AM. These radio stations represent all five counties in the Thumb, with those counties being their principle broadcast area. Since there is no Arbitron ratings for this region, it is not sure which station is the most listened to. Coverage area, though, may help determine which stations reach the most listeners.
