Thorpe Business Park

Thorpe Business Park, (often simplified to Thorpe Park), is a large business park in Colton, East Leeds. The business park has been developing since 2001, and has good connections with Leeds, Wakefield and Wetherby by the adjacent M1 and Selby by the A63. Approximately a third of what will be developed has already been built or is under construction. The site will also eventually include a new 110 acre green park. The development has been unpopular with many residens in Colton, as Thorpe Park along with the Colton Retail Park and the new houses around Colton have surrounded the former village with urban development as appose to the green fields of ten years ago. All of Thorpe Park is developed on Green Field land.
