Thoppil Joppan is an upcoming Malayalam film directed by Johny Antony, starring Mammootty in lead role. Sunoj Velayudam handles the cinematography for this film and is produced under the banner of SN Group. Johny Antony and Mammootty had done together 3 films before. They are Thuruppu Gulan, Pattanathil Bhootham and Thappana. This film will also be a fun filled family entertainer. Plot Mammootty's character Thoppil Joppan is a naadan person living in Kattappana and he is a member of the Kabadi team. Mammootty is again doing an Achayan role in this film after Kottayam Kunjachen. The major locations for the film areThopramkudi, Pala and Thodupuzha. The shooting will kick start from April 2016.
