Thomas Ybarra

Thomas Ybarra is a talent manager and acting coach. Now based in California, Ybarra has taught and represents actors from all over the world.
Early life
Born Thomas Ybarra in San Antonio, Texas to parents Joann Reschman and Jose Ybarra.
Career
He first began his acting career in Los Angeles, California appearing in commercials, television, and independent feature films. Between acting jobs he began teaching and helping other actors progress in there chosen profession. In 2001 he started his own talent management agency Top Priority Group. The actors he represents have appeared as principle actors in major television shows, feature films, and commercials. Feature films his actors have been accredited in: Oscar-nominated film A Single Man starring Colin Firth. Feature film "Freedom Writers" Starring Hilary Swank. Feature film "Decisions" starring Corey Haim, feature film Rampart starring Woody Harrelson, feature film Days Of Wrath starring Wilmer Valderama, feature film The Red Canvas starring Ernie Reyes Jr.
Method
He studied his craft at Nosotros Theatre in Los Angeles, learning Lee Strasburg method of acting. He eventually became a student of the National Michael Chekhov Association and learned Michael Chekhov's method of acting under the guide of Chekhov teacher Lisa Dalton. Although he enjoyed being a student of the Chekhov organization Thomas wanted to learn different methods of acting and decided to train with New York-based acting coach Peter Estrada. He soon became familiar with the methods of Stella Adler, Uta Hagen, and Sanford Meisner.
Acting coach
Thomas Ybarra continues to teach and incorporates the wisdom and knowledge of all the great teachers as well as his own experience and wisdom.
