The Weasel Kickers

The Weasel Kickers are a comedy rock band from Derby, England. They were formed by Andrew Brown and Russell Corbyn in the early months of 2004 when they were studying Geology at the University of Derby. The band originally formed as The Time Meniscus and other incarnations (including The Andy Brown Experience). A couple of years later Aidy Hammersley and Chris White joined the band. The band is currently managed by Stuck Records.
Their first album was entitled Don't complain, which spent four weeks at number one on the Music World Radio chart.<ref name=Hungry/> Shortly after its release it went to number eight in the listing, run by the worldwide free internet radio station, and then spent three weeks at number one - a chart record. It dropped to number 10 but then, thanks to a second surge in online voting, it shot back up to number one - another record for the chart.
The band enjoys raising profiles for charities and has raised money for Shelter, Roundabouts, First Steps, Air Ambulance Charity and Rethink from their gigs.
