The U-Do Project is built on a vision to see wealth spread back to local communities worldwide. The U-Do Project was founded on the simple principle of spreading wealth back to local communities. The U-Do Project was founded by Managing Director Nicola Holbrook in the United Kingdom in November 2010. Since it's conception, The U-Do Project has grown and gained support from many members worldwide. People have joined The U-Do Project online and actively use the online and offline services for their benefit. How will The U-Do Project spread wealth back to local communities? The U-Do Project intends to do this by providing both online and offline services that benefit independent businesses, charities, social enterprises and people in local communities. The wealth of profits generated as a process of using the online and offline services provided by The U-Do Project, will be redistributed back to local communities or also referred to as local areas where the profits were originally generated. How the give back works? How the give back works is by a carefully designed system known as the U Fund. Profits and donations will be accumulated in the U Fund, where people in local areas can suggest what they would like improving in their local area. Funds will be released for suggestions receiving the most votes, hence enabling the improvement of local communities world wide. The key to the U Fund is people's involvement. People who live in local areas will get a chance to decide on what they would like to see in their local area.
