The Story of Our Lives

The Story of Our Lives is the name of a maxi single by The Echoing Green, released in June 2004 on A Different Drum. This single does not feature the original version of the song as found on the album The Winter of Our Discontent, but instead features an "Epic" version which includes an extended piano intro and outro by Jason Smith of Leiahdorus. "Seaside" and the Echo Image version of "The Story of Our Lives," as well as the cover of Wolfsheim's "The Sparrows & the Nightingales" (a collaboration between The Echoing Green and Sheltershed), were later featured on the BEC Recordings release of The Winter of Our Discontent.
