The Silver State Trio

The Silver State Trio is a Southern Gospel trio founded by Mark Gray, Donovon McNew, and Jimmy Carter (not the president). They sing mostly songs sung by Greater Vision.
Mark Gray's solo career includes three albums and eight Top 40 country hits, of which the highest-peaking is the #6 "Sometimes When We Touch", a cover of the Dan Hill song, which he recorded as a duet with Tammy Wynette. Gray also co-wrote "Take Me Down" and "The Closer You Get", both of which were originally recorded by Exile but later became Number One hits for Alabama.
