The Scientology Handbook

The Scientology Handbook, published in December 1994, is an 871-page volume explaining assorted Scientology precepts. It is an improved version of the 1976 Volunteer Minister Handbook and is still used to train Scientology Volunteer Ministers. Editions The Handbook was originally published as a deluxe hardcover edition. This edition featured teal faux-leather covers, textured Moiré pattern endpapers, gilt-edged pages, and a tassel. This edition is no longer available. A new slightly revised edition came out in 2001. Currently in print and available from the Church is an oversized softcover edition, depicting the planet Earth in pieces, with hands putting the pieces back together again.
