The Record Collection is a Canadian comedy group founded by Craig Morrison and Sam Stilson in 2009. The duo and their friends attempt to break or set unusual world records in short reality-television style videos posted on their website. Currently The Record Collection holds 8 world records (as verified by the Universal Record Database) most notable of which is the record for the 'World's Longest High-Five'. Set on December 5th, 2009, Stilson and Morrison ran a combined distance of 3.3 km down Yonge St. in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to eventually complete the high-five at Yonge-Dundas Square. On January 13, 2010, The Record Collection was featured in the print and online editions of the Metro Herald as well as the Metro UK newspapers under their section titled "The Ridiculant." It was also featured on Local 12 WKRC Cincinnati in a short news segment. Other records they hold include: Fastest Time to Drink a Pint of Spaghetti Sauce, Fastest Time to Eat A 15lb Watermelon, Most Eggs Thrown at Person in 30 Seconds, Most Eggs Broken With The Head in 30 Seconds, Most Ice Cubes Fit In The Mouth in 1 Minute, Fastest Time To Eat A Tub of Ice Cream and Fastest Time To Eat A Fried Egg Sandwich. Failed Attempts In May 2009, the group decided to try to set a new record for the Most Hard Boiled Eggs Eaten in One Hour. Alec Dowell, the person attempting, managed to consume 15 hard boiled eggs in this length of time. Shortly after, it was brought to their attention that this record already existed and that the true number was 65 eggs in 6 minutes and 40 seconds set by Sonya Thomas.
