The P Affection

The P Affection is an alternative rock group from County Kildare, Ireland. The group was formed by multi-instrumentalist Padraig McCauley, son of Martin McCauley, with bandmates Dean Lane and Colm O'Rourke later joining the group. The P Affection has released three EPs and two studio albums, and are currently working on their third.
History
The group began as a recording project by McCauley, with him releasing multiple EPs in early 2010. A live band formed due to the popularity of the EP releases and the band recorded their debut album in 2010. The P Affection toured various locations shortly after its release, including the 20th Anniversary IMRO Showcase Tour. Prior to the release of their 2012 album Cakes for Occasions, the band signed with Nippi Records, an offshoot of Psychonavigation Records.
Style
The P Affection uses many different styles and genres in their first two albums, with the band citing various influences on their music.
