AV7 ~ The New Authorized Version of the Bible in Present-Day English is a word-for-word literal translation of the New Testament that was compiled by a computer-generated process directly from the Greek Textus Receptus source. Selected Old Testament passages based on the Hebrew Masoretic Text are also included. The first printed edition of The AV7 Bible was published in 2006 and work is ongoing to complete the Old Testament. The copyright holder is a non-profit organization registered under the name: "The New Authorized Version Foundation." The AV7 is authorized to be "freely copied for any non-commercial purpose." By contrast, most commercially promoted English language versions and paraphrases of the Bible claim exclusive "All Rights Reserved" property ownership and impose strict restrictions and limitations on copying portions of their contents. The AV7 Bible is an entirely new compilation. It is not an updated variation of the King James Version of the Bible. Many additional unique features and attributes of The AV7 Bible are described in the book, "How to compare Bible Versions" which is available in print or can be downloaded free at the AV7 Bible website.
