History
Sinan Kanatsiz, the association's chairman and founder, started the IMA in 2000. The company's administrative offices are located in San Clemente, California. Google, SalesForce, Yahoo, Facebook, Microsoft, St. Regis Hotel, Wahoos, Quest Software, Oakley and YouTube have all been corporate sponsors for IMA events. Kanatsiz recently expanded the IMA and added technology experts from Europe, the Middle East, China and India to the association's infrastructure.
