The Foxhole Sessions

The Foxhole Sessions is the demo tape of the first studio recordings by Random Gender. It was recorded at the Foxhole Studio in Wick, between 8 p.m. and midnight on October 13, 1983. The tape was recorded live in the studio and has no overdubbing except rhythm guitar on Jasmine II. All the vocals were overdubbed except for My Death, which were recorded live. This demo EP enable Random Gender to secure a headline slot at Richard Branson's Golddiggers Club in early 1984. The show was filmed and archive footage has been released through YouTube.
