The Branches of the Cahill Family

The Cahills are the most powerful family in human history, created in the 1500s with Gideon Cahill and his wife, Olivia Cahill. Their five children- There are five main branches in the Cahill family: the Lucians, Ekaterinas, Janus, Madrigals, and Tomas. Each branch has unique powers that are the result of specific portion's of Gideon Cahill's master serum.
Lucians
The Lucians are known for their leadership skills and their cunning. Notable members of this branch includes the Kabra family. Irina Spasky, and her brother are also Lucians. Lucians are known for their poisons and ruthlessness, which instills fear in the other Cahills. However, even they fear the Madrigals. The founder of this branch is Luke Cahill, the oldest of the original Cahill children and the one most blamed for setting the fire that killed Gideon Cahill. However, the fire was actually set by Damien Vesper. In the first book of the 39 Clues series, Maze of Bone, Natalie Kabra mentions that there had been a conflict between the Lucians and Ekaterinas that resulted in the Tunguska Explosion of 1908.
Ekaterina
This branch specializes in inventing and tinkering. Alistiar Oh, the grand-nephew of Bae Oh, invented the microwavable burrito. Bae is currently the leader of this branch.
Janus
This branch specializes in the fine arts. Jonah Wizard and his family are the first family of the Janus branch. However, his father, Broderick, is not a member of the family. The Janus has a stronghold under the canals of Venice.
Madrigals
This branch tries to keep too much power away from the other branches. The other branches used to regard it with fear, until the Madrigals took over the family. Amy and Dan are Madrigals.
Tomas
This branch is known for their brute strength and stubbornness. It was actually the Tomas who put men on the moon. The Holts are Tomas members.
