The Bendrigg Trust (founded in 1978) is a non-profit organization with a charitable status. The Trust provides courses and activities for disabled and disadvantaged young people. The Bendrigg Trust is located between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales in Northern England, and is situated in of land of which half is woodland. Activities available to both able bodied and disabled participants include: * Archery * Camping * Canoeing in kayaks or open canoes * Caving - All standards * Challenge adventure course and aerial runway * Group initiative projects * Hill or mountain walking The Bendrigg Trust is a founder member of the 'Adventure for All' group of centres and is one of the very few residential outdoor education centres in the UK specialising in working with people with a disability.
