The Bellarmine Report is an American apostolate founded by Robert Sungenis in 1993. Sungenis changed the name of Catholic Apologetics International (CAI) to the Bellarmine Theological Forum (BTF) in August 2007 when his former Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades directed him to stop using the word "Catholic" in his organization's name. The name was then changed to The Bellarmine Report in 2011. The Bellarmine Report is a "subsidiary" of " CAI Publishing, Inc." which is registered as a non-profit corporation. CAI Publishing's board of directors is composed of Mark Wyatt (director, president), Maureen Sungenis (director, vice president, treasurer, secretary), John Schmieding (director) and Rick Delano (director). Laurence Gonzaga was CAI Publishing's Media Director until 2012.
