The adventures of Dakota Deathstrider

The adventures of Dakota Deathstrider is a series of 5 books written by british author Harry Thompson. The series chronicles the adventures of Dakota Deathstrider, a 12,000,000 year old death god, and his friends. The main storyline is Dakota's battle against the evil organisation S.O.U.L, whose aim is to enslave and experiment upon all magical creatures.
The first book was started on the 2nd of September 2011. The others have not been started yet.
The series has many different parts of varying genres, but the main genres are fantasy and comedy. Also, hints of science-fiction, historical and magic realism.
Plot
Main storyline
The main storyline is that Dakota is battling an evil organisation called S.O.U.L (Society Of Unusual Lifeforms), run by the insane mastermind Venom. Dakota has been fighting S.O.U.L for 2000 years, and always foils their evil plans.
Main characters
Good guys
* Dakota Deathstrider - An entusiastic, inventive and permanently curious person. Dakota is the main character of the book, he has a natural tendency to cause a lot of (mainly self-inflicted) trouble to himself and everyone he knows.
* Alix Treeblossom - Alix is inattentive, rash and has a habit of stealing everything she sees. Being one of the first elves and the legendary criminal, she is one of the most powerful characters in the books. However, her quick approach to everything and her haphazard methods can sometimes be her downfall.
* Morgrim Hexweaver - Morgrim is intelligent, charisatic and likes to walk into where he knows there is danger. He is a proffesional Demon slayer and a werewolf, he is also Dakota's cousin.
* Elektra - Is an electrical alien, she is the last of her species. She is very loud and obnoxious and walks away from whatever is endangering her. She is best friends with Alix, and can read minds.
* Celestia - Celestia is an ancient spirit that reincarnates after every death. They first meet her in The god complex when she pretends to be a schoolgirl in the school Dakota works at, and she helps defeat the Palivros. She stays right through the books and fights in the Battle of death field. Her powers are immortality, disguise, and the ability to control other people by touching them.
Bad guys
* Venom - An evil megalomaniac who is in charge of S.O.U.L. He used to be Healer, Dakota's old friend. But he turned evil and became venom, his power is to inject venom (of which there is no antidote) into a person.
* Alexandrá - Alix's evil self, freed from her body. She has one objective, to kill Alix so she can be free. She can see into Alix's thoughts for short periods of time, has all Alix's powers and can take over other peoples bodies.
* Nefiros - A Palivros which came to the secondary school Dakota goes to work at in The god complex. He works to destroy Dakota as revenge.
