The 1st Bus Limited Guangzhou

The 1st Bus Limited Guangzhou is a shell corporation comprising The YiQi Bus Guangzhou Limited, Guangzhou Trolley Bus Company, Guangzhou XinSui Bus Limited and Panyu ChuangDa Bus Limited.
On the 12th October 2007, Guangzhou Transport Committee required the YiQi Bus Guangzhou Limited, Guangzhou Trolley Bus Company, Guangzhou XinSui Bus Limited and Panyu ChuangDa Bus Limited to co-establish a shell corporation, named ‘The 1st Bus Limited Guangzhou' in order to ban privately owned bus operators from entering Guangzhou and suppress other operators that failed to comply with Committee’s LPG usage policy. These four bus operators were required to use a united livery of 'The 1st Bus Limited Guangzhou’,replace the logo on both the front and rear of the vehicles of the “YiQi Bus” to “The 1st Bus Limited Guangzhou” and remove the English caption 'Established in 1952'. However, original logos of the respective companies still remained on the left of the front door, the driver’s wind screen and every facilities inside the vehicles, causing confusion to passengers. Nowadays, these three bus companies still use their old liveries on their websites and avoided any pictures of the new logo and livery (except for Chuangda as it does not have a website).
The YiQi Bus Limited Guangzhou, Guangzhou XinSui Bus Limited and Guangzhou ChuangDa Automobile Transport Limited are subsidiaries of the Hong Jia Wei Ye Holdings.
