Terrell Young

Terrell Young (born August 7, 1985 in Grenada, Mississippi) is an American Minor League Baseball player. He was a pitcher in the Cincinnati Reds and Washington Nationals organizations.
He made his minor league debut in , and spent 2004 and with the GCL Reds. In , Young spent the year with the Billings Mustangs, and the Dayton Dragons. He played with both the Dragons and the Sarasota Reds in and .
Young was selected by the Washington Nationals in the 2008 Rule 5 draft as the number 1 pick. The Nationals attempted to return him to the Cincinnati Reds on May 13, 2009, but due to an injury, that move was blocked.
At the end of the 2009 season, in compliance with Rule 5 draft rules, the Nationals sent Young back to the Cincinnati Reds. The Reds assigned Young to their AAA affiliate, Louisville Bats. It was reported that Young quit baseball in early summer 2010.
