TeraByte, Inc., a Nevada Corporation (2001), is a software manufacturer most commonly referred to by its DBA, TeraByte Unlimited. TeraByte Unlimited is located in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA and specializes in file system and disk-based software. TeraByte Unlimited originally became known for its BootIt line of multi-boot and disk partitioning products, which were first released in 1994 and have since evolved into BootIt Next Generation. TeraByte also makes Image for Windows, a disk imaging backup software program for Microsoft Windows. Other products include Image for DOS and Image for Linux. TeraByte Unlimited core technologies have been licensed and included in such products as LANDesk System Management Suite and IBM Rapid Recovery. The Extended Master Boot Record (EMBR) Specification, originally developed by TeraByte Unlimited in 1996, was used by Microsoft and Intel as the basis of the Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) Specification. |
