Born in May, 1964 in Arlington VA, Teo Graca started his career working as a music performer (bassist), publisher and music producer in the Mid-Atlanta area of the US from the late 1980s and early 1990s. In the late 1990s to the present, he has worked primarily as an Information Architect and Systems Designer, and more recently in the area of social media. As a serial entrepreneur, businesses have included music, photography and video production, as well as information architecture design for the military, government and Fortune 500 companies. History and Background '1984-1996:' Teo Graca studied music and computer science in college and worked with video production during this time. Although he started his career as a performing musician and composer, he also created a sound production company in Northern Virginia, providing and worked as a studio musician for others. In 1987, he established a music production studio and worked part-time as a copy writer, journalist, assistant editor and editor for several music publications. '1992-1996:' Set up the first non-linear digital video editing suite in Virginia in 1993 and quit performing live music at the end of that year. Teo ran several businesses at the time, including a photo lab, copy shop and the new video production company. His music production studio functioned through 1996, and then Teo moved to programming full time and eventually worked as an information architect. '1996-2006:' Working as a consultant (contractor) through the late 90's and through 2006 for Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies, government, telecommunications and a few small businesses building and designing information systems using all of the latest technologies as soon as they came out. Teo worked with Allaire Corporation and Macromedia on their ColdFusion product as architectural best practices were developed and included in the language. Teo acquired several Microsoft and Macromedia certifications during this time. '2007-Present:' 'Net-Teams information architecture system:' Teo has developed several technology solutions for the web, including content management, relationship management, article syndication and business-to-business networking applications still being used today. Scheduling, billing, inventory, marketing and many other applications were also developed and branded into separate applications, although these technologies were initially released as part of the Net-Teams system. 'The core branded technologies are now separated into 5 separate applications:' * Article Advocates - Blogging and Content Management System * Net-Teams - Relationship Management System (RMS) * eWorkshop Hosting - Course Management, eCommerce and Video Delivery System * Social Media Syndication - Social Media Marketing Application and Service * Multiple Website Marketing - Micro Site Designer Many of these applications are integrated with PayPal, Google, aWeber, FaceBook, iPhone, T-Mobile, AT&T, FEDEX, , iContact, Lulu and are continuing to expand into many other areas. Accomplishments 'As a Speaker and Author:' Teo has been working with Chamber of Commerce and other organizations since he was still in high school, and continues to work with them to build their memberships and currently speaks on social media, technology, authorship and business planning. He has published over 200 articles since 2007 and published a book on social media in 2009, with a short sequel in 2010. 'Television and Radio:' Teo has worked behind the cameras and broadcast controls since he was 17. His more recent work has been in front of the cameras and microphones as a featured guest or host on shows like ThriveAmerica, Atlanta Business RadioX and The Advocates Show. 'Information Architect:' Teo has done contract work with Fortune 500 companies, the military and large government organizations like the State Department, FAA, NASA and others. 'As a Publisher:' Teo had a record company in the late 1980s and 1990s and at the time also worked with authors and writers to publish their works.
