Ten Year Vamp

Ten Year Vamp is a high energy, female fronted pop rock band from Albany, New York, USA formed in 2003 by Debbie Gabrione (front person) and Mark Rose. Since their conception (and up through Jan 2013), they have played roughly 100 shows per year and toured year round. Despite discussion with various labels (minor and major), Ten Year Vamp elected not to sign to a label for album/tour support and instead, function indepdantly. Ten Year Vamp has received numerous accolades from iconic media outlets (Forbes.com, Yahoo, AOL news, Boston Business Journal, Guitar Internation, etc) for their first full-length album, Don't Act Like You Know Me (Produced by Mike Watts of VuDu Studios), released in 2009 and completely funded by fan 'investments'. Songs from this album were licensed to companies like MTV (Jersey Shore, Real World, etc), ABC's Family Channel, Showtime, Fox Sports, etc. Their follow-up album (released Aug 2011) "Lust" outsold their previous album and earned them additional licensing and publishing opportunities as well as spots on Rock Band (for PlayStation, Xbox 360, etc.), other video games, TV shows, Facebook and ipad apps (Rockstar Rising - published by Whotune) and various brand support.
Ten Year Vamp has opened for such national recording artists as Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, Sum 41, Natasha Bedingfield, Finger 11, Fuel, Lifehouse, Gin Blossoms, Gavin Degraw, Spin Doctors, 3Oh!3, Sean Kingston and many more.
The band is endorsed by Peavy Guitars, Daisy Rock Guitars, Budda Guitar Amps, Stagg Symbols, In-Tune Guitar Picks, and Guitar-Cable.com. Ten Year Vamp has received nominations for an eWorld Music Award (Hollywood, CA), 2 awards from Billboard Magazine, was a Northeast US finalist in the Hard Rock Cafe Ambassadors of Rock tour (2010), was nominated to appear at the 2012 Grammy Awards through the "Gig of a Lifetime" opportunity and many other honors not frequently earned by an unsigned independent band. They've been called the Best Indie Band and their album has ranked in the year end top 10 (Rock category) by countless college radio stations and podcasts.
Ten Year Vamp is Debbie Gabrione (lead vocals, guitar), Mark Rose (rhythm guitar), Andrew Foster (lead guitar), Tim Keenan (bass guitar) and Greg Nash (drums).
Their songs are available on iTunes and most other online music retailers.
As of Jan 2013, they have taken a break from touring to focus on writing/recording a new album. There is no anticipated release date confirmed, however, the band has blogged that they hope to resume touring in support of a new album in 2014.
