Tejasvi Surya (born 16 November 1990) is an Indian politician from Bangalore, Karnataka. He is the General Secretary of Karnataka BJP's youth wing, Yuva Morcha leader, party spokesperson and a lawyer by profession. He is contesting in the 2019 Indian general election for BJP from the high profile as the party's youngest candidate. Early Life Tejasvi Surya is the son of Dr Suryanarayana and Rama of Basavanagudi, Bangalore. Tejasvi Surya studied in Kumarans School, and is an alumnus of National College Jayanagar and Bangalore Institute of Legal Studies Political life Tejasvi Surya was a swayamsevak from his childhood and later worked as the state secretary of ABVP during his college days. He also worked as a columnist between 2013-2014 in the news organisation IndiaFacts. Media He is also the youngest BJP candidate to be contesting in the 2019 Loksabha elections. Allegations of assault have been made against him in several media outlets, but he has obtained a temporary injunction against such reporting.
