Tegen Roberts

Tegen Roberts (born 7 August 1990) is a notable winner on the Channel 4 game show Deal or No Deal. She won £250,000 on the show broadcast on 22 September 2011. This is still one of the largest amounts won on UK Television and puts Tegen amongst a . Tegen, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2010, became the Channel 4 series' fourth contestant to win the jackpot of £250,000.
Background
Tegen was born on 7 August 1990 and grew up in Cornwall. She attended the University of Portsmouth and studied English Language but had to withdraw due to ill health.
Deal or No Deal
Tegen's game was exceptional. She also had the distinction of having the 7th Biggest No Deal of £77,000. She was left with two boxes; £20,000 and £250,000 and after declining the swap, went on to win the £250,000. She had the strongest board ever after round 3 to the end of the show; a staggering £560,250.60 was still in play after 10 boxes had been opened.
