Teamwork PM is a web-based project-management tool developed by the Irish company, Digital Crew. It is written using Adobe's ColdFusion language. The name Teamwork PM makes it easily confused with other Project Management Software, including Teamwork, TWProject, and Teamcenter. History The project was started by two Cork based programmers in Digital Crew, Peter Coppinger and Dan Mackey in 2007. It was released to the public on the 3rd October. Since then the project has been controlled by a publicly viewable roadmap, which is steered by user feedback and suggestions. Features Teamwork PM describes its main features as including Multiple Project Control, Assigning Tasks to Multiple People, Milestones, to-do lists, Time-tracking and Risk registering. Of the many Project Management software packages, TeamworkPM is often compared to Basecamp, a similar piece of software. It is a web-based product. Teamwork PM is proprietary software available in 24 languages, with an API released on developer.teamworkpm.net. The release of an API is a move similar to its main rival software, Basecamp, and gives 3rd party developers to create add-ons for TeamworkPM.
